Bame Tomnyuy is a Cameroonian poet, scholar, and educator from Nkar in the Bui Division of Cameroon. He holds a PhD in Literatures in English from the University of Bamenda and has published on African and postcolonial literatures in international journals and edited volumes.
His poetry emerges from a deep engagement with place, history, and the textures of everyday life. Combining lyrical precision with keen social observation, he explores themes of memory, belonging, silence, and survival. His poems have appeared in Skylight 47 Poetry Magazine and An Anthology of Contemporary Poetry from Africa: The Griots of Ubuntu.
Tomnyuy lives and works in Bamenda, Cameroon, where he continues to pursue both creative and scholarly writing. Ghost Town Chronicles is his first collection of poetry.
